Donald J. Trump for President, Dave McCormick, the Friends of Dave McCormick, and the Republican National Committee filed the lawsuit in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas on Tuesday, Oct. 29, court documents obtained by Daily Voice state.
The lawsuit was filed against the Bucks County Board of Elections, its three members — Chair Bob Harvie, Vice Chair Diane Ellis-Marseglia and Gene DiGirolamo — and its director, Deana Dean, according to court documents.
Chairperson of the Republican National Committee Michael Whatley announced the lawsuit at a Trump rally in Allentown on the same date the court documents were filed, according to NBC 10 News. Whatley told the audience that the lawsuit was filed over voter suppression efforts in Bucks County.
Daily Voice reached out to the Bucks County Board of Elections for comment but did not receive a call back at the time publication.
